This week over on Papertake Weekly Blog there is another fab sketch by Katharina. So here is my card. I have used one of my new hAnglar & stAnglaR Winter Club Kit stamps that finally arrived yesterday. I have coloured him with ProMarkers, using the following colours...

Ice Grey 1 (Bicycle frame)
Ice Grey 3 (Tyre)
Spice (Basket)
Silver (Hat buckle)
Pastel Blue (Shadow)

The papers are Basic Grey "Cupcake", and the ribbon is by American Craft. I used my circle nestabilities for the circle around the stamped image and also the scalloped circle. Finally I used one of my new sentiments by Printworks from a pack called"Friendship Greetings" and added a few bits of bling.

I have been busy the last couple of days creating with October ScrapaGoGo Create Kit.....boy is it lush....can't how you yet, but pop over the ScrapaGoGo to see the kit, also on their blog are sneaky peeks of the DT work.

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 21 by Mumur from France

Here is a card I made today using the sketch over on Friday Sketchers. This weeks sketch was provided by Mumur from France. For my card I have used a Halloween stamp by hAnglar & stAnglar. All the papers are by Little Yellow Bicycle "Frightful". The diecuts pumpkin, stars and sentiment are all from the same paper pad bought from Capture the Magic at Ally Pally on Saturday. So now I have made 2 cards with new stash....a record for me to use it so quickly. I used ProMarkers to colour the stamped images, colours as follows..

Ivory/Blush (Skin)
Black/Amethyst (Dress, Hat & Shoes)
Pumpkin/Marsh Green (Pumpkins)
Cocoa (Hair)
Ice Grey 2 (Box)

Today my Winter Club Kit from hAnglar & stAnglar arrived after being posted on 19th, so I have already cut them out ready to play with...the boy on the bicycle is just so darn cute with his backward facing cap. So now I am only waiting for the cute Sommar 2008 stamps that include the boy with the guitar.....he is one of my faves.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge 29 "Lots of Sparkle"

Ok, so finally I am back, after my mammouth cleaning session, and a fantabulous weekend visit from Marlene...including a trip to Ally Pally for the day to attend the Big Stamp and Scrapbooking Show...OMG it was amazing....but I will be back later to show pics and tell all...

So back to this card. You may not believe it, but I made this card last night all with new stash received/bought this weekend. So the papers are the uber new Prima Marketing "Peaches" which I got from Scrap Revolution at Ally Pally (they sold out after I showed them to Marlene and people saw that there was a matching stamp. The pad is so cute and includes pages with cut out windows. The image is also by Prima, stamped with Versafine and with added Sakura Clear Glitter Gel Pen to the swirls and obviously some BLING..... The flower was this months freebie on the Craft Stamper magazine got for me by Marlene, and coloured with ProMarkers....I used Pastel Pink (inner flower)
Ruby (centre and outer flower)
Pastel Blue (shadow outline)

I added copious amounts of the Sakura Clear Glitter Gel Pen and added bling too. Finally I added a new sentiment stamp that I got at the show on the Sir StampAlot stall which is by Hero Arts.

I promise to get back to showing you pics on Sunday after Marlene and Laurelle (her DD) have gone home...Georgia and I are very excited and cannot wait until they arrive later today....Ally Pally here I come (tomorrow).

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge "Something Different"

This week over on the Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge Blog we were set the challenge to make "Something Different" with our ATC's...and I think this week we have all excelled....check out the blog by clicking on the link to the right.

I made each ATC into a little calender, choosing each stamp with the month it referred to in mind...Jan (New Year), Feb (Valentines) etc etc. I have left the back of each blank so that any dates marked on the front can have details of them written on the back....ie May 16th My DD Georgia's 7th Birthday...etc etc....you get the idea. I have used many many colours of ProMarkers to color in....too many to mention, but if you want to know a colour leave me a comment or email me and I will get back to you. The papers were also scraps that I had and the calender stamp is one of the Imaginese 75p ones.

I hope you will all come along and play.

Ismaki Challenge Sketch #32 by Kiki

This week over on Ismaki Sketch Challenge Blog the sketch has been provided by Kiki, this is her first ever sketch, so go over and take a look (link to the right) and join in the fun.

For my card I have used all patterned papers....and NO stamps. These are from the Forver Friends "Christmas Glow" paper pad.

I am still busy on operation clean up the house. Yesterday I went and bought new bedside cabinets from Ikea, and David spent the evening putting them together and fixing them to the wall. Today I finally managed to get a mirror for the bathroom so that this evening we can finally finish off the bathroom.

Sketch Saturday - Sketch #17

Here is a card from me using this weeks sketch over on Sketch Saturday Blog. I have used an image by Alota Stamps, coloured with my ProMarkers (sorry can't recall the colours as I coloured it weeks ago). The papers are all K&Co "Berry Sweet", I used my circle nestabilities , plus flowers from Prima. Also added some randow bling to the corners and the flowers on the stamped image and Sakura clear glitter gel pen to the Prima Flowers....a girl can never have too much sparkle.

Got a fab email this morning from Karin in Sweden...my Winter Club Kit is winging it's way to me and should arrive early this week.....and she is going to order me the Summer Club Kit that is now showing on the website.....they always add something right after she has placed an order for me. She has been amazing though.....a one in a millionm, so a hug THANK YOU to Michelle who introduced me to her from in Sweden, and to Karin for being so amazingly patient with me and my email requests.

Yesterday I spent to whole day cleaning.....I kid you not. I have a visitor coming to stay with me on Friday Night, and desperately needed to clean up. It was the perfect excuse to get some jobs done that have needed doing for a while....and now I have 5 sacks of clothing to give to the school (they collect it and receive money from a company...all helps the school), I am ashamed to say thay there were even clothes in there that I never wore....naughty me. So I have been for a quick visit to Ikea to buy a couple of bedside cabinets and also Tesco's for new towels for my newly fitted out bathroom...well technically it's no longer a bathroom as it has no bath...so a Shower Room. This evening I will be finishing it off, and we have to tackle Georgia's bedroom....I told her I wanted it to be as tidy as mine this morning and all I got was a "ahhhhhh"....LOL

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 20

Here is my card using this weeks sketch over on Friday Sketchers provided by Kristine from Norway...and I believe it is her first one.

I have used another of my new hAnglar & stAnglar Halloween stamps coloured with Promarkers using the following colours...
Ivory/Blush (Skin)
Cocoa (Hair)
Ruby (Devil Costume)
Warm Grey 1/Warm Grey 2 (Socks)
Pumpkin (Pumpkin)
Orange/Amethyst (Candy)

The papers are Junkitz (Script and Dotty one) and the Cobweb is flocked and was in last years Making Memories Halloween range. I have added some candy charms that I got from HobbyCraft that are made by Paper Cellar. Finally I added the Halloween which is a hAnglar & stAnglar stamp....finished off with string that was recycled from packaging on another crafting product.

Halloween Card with the new hAnglar & StAnglar Halloween Stamps

This week I received a lovely parcel filled with the new hAnglar & stAnglar stamps...including the new halloween and wedding stamps. I couldn't resist colouring them in and making a card. I saw this card idea on the hAnglar Blog and thought I would have a go at making one. To make the coffin shaped card I used A piece A4 cardstock and cut it lengthways. I then folded it in half so that to open it, it flops down. The outside is decorated with a Karen Foster Brad, Making Memories "Happy Halloween" flocked sticker and Doodlebug Simply Sweet Alpha's. The papers are by Autumn Leaves and were a kit I got from a Dutch Kit company a year or so ago....and I am finally using the last scraps up. For the inside I have used more of the same papers, with another Karen Foster Brad. The image and sentiment are both from the new hAnglar & stAnglar Halloween range. Don't you just love the Count Dracula.....so cute. I have stamped and coloured the images with my ProMarkers using the following colours...
Ivory/Blush (Skin)
Umber/Warm Grey 1 (Hair)
Ruby (Waistcoat & Bow Tie)
Warm Grey 1/Warm Grey 2 (Jacket & Trousers)
Warm Grey2 or 3 (Shoes)

To hold the card closed I am going to add a little Making Memories spiral clip...when I can find the ones I bought recently...if not it will be a regular paperclip with a little ribbon attached....LOL

Sketch Saturday - Sketch #16

I noticed a new (to me) Challenge Blog called Sketch Saturday and I do love a good sketch, so decided to play along....and here is my card.

I love the new Forever Friends range, I bought a few of the 6x6 Paper Pads...they are fab. I have used one of the Christmas ones here. The main image has been created by cutting up one of the sheets of paper. The sentiments are by Stampendous (Happy Holidays) and Kelly Panacci (No Peeking). With added bling from my stash to finish it off.

So if you can't afford the stamps, get the pad at £3.99 and there are plenty of images that can be cut to make a focal point on your cards.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge 28 "Food"

This week over on Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog the theme is "Food". I have been a little crafty this week and have used the ATC I made for this weeks Tilda & Friends Challenge and have made a triangle card with a sketch by the super talented Marlene.

I have used a PaperMania card blank as the base, covered with Rhonna Farrer "French Twist" papers. The stamped image is by hAnglar & stAnglar and is coloured with ProMarkers. With sentiments using Autumn Leaves ticket stamps and American Craft alphabet stickers. Finally the blossoms are by Prima Marketing.

Check out the DT cards over on the Blog (link to the right) as they are fabulous.

Forever Friends HandBag Card

While I was in Dobbies Garden Centre in Fenny Stratford this afternoon I treated myself to one of the new Forever Driends stamps. I had already decided that I would only be getting one of these stamps, so needed to find one that would cover many different occasions. After some careful deliberation, I chose the stamp with the bear holding the gift..thinking that it would work for Xmas, Birthdays...just about everything. I had a template for a handbag card for a while and finally decided to have a go at making one. I don't know who the card was by, as I found it in the bottom of my stash...LOL I added the Forever Friends image stamped and coloured with ProMarkers using the following colours....
Vanilla (Body of the Bear)
Ivory (Nose)
Blush (Inner Ears)
Rose Pink/Silver (Gift)
Ivory (Tag)
Finally I added a Bo Bunny Blossom, alphabet stickers by American Craft and bling from my stash.

I am pleased with it and already have a plan for another...so watch this space.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge "Pink Blue Green"

This weeks challenge over on the Tilda & Friends Challenge Blog is "Pink Blue Green". It is pretty simple, we want you to create an ATC using either Tilda or one of her new friends and make an ATC with those colours.

For my ATC I have used one of the Summer Club Kit hAnglar & stAnglar stamps. The image is coloured using the following ProMarker colours...

Ivory/Vanilla/Blush (Skin)
Pastel Yellow/Gold/Apricot (Hair)
Lime Green (Hairband and Trousers)
Rose Pink (Dress and Shoes)
Pastel Blue (Mug and Tray)
Cocoa/Rose Pink/Berry Red (Muffin)
Soft Lime/Pastel Pink (Blanket)

I have added some highlights using my Signo Uniball white pen, and also some glitter with my Sakura clear glitter gel pen. The sentiment is by Autumn Leaves as are the papers (French Twist), finally the flowers are by Prima Marketing "Dude" collection. The brad is one from an old ScrapaGoGo kit, and the spacer are available on eBay.

With such an easy theme this week, come and join in the fun....there is even a small prize. I am even prepared to do some swaps....and I have never done any before. I am going to Ally Pally in a couple of weeks to the "Big Stamp and Scrapbooking Show" with Marlene on the Saturday, so if you are going and would like to meet up and swap an ATC....let me know, so that I remember to take some with me.

First Card with my new Fall Stamp Club Magnolia's

So my new Magnolia Fall Stamp Club kit arrived yesterday and as usual I was unable to resist stamping a couple of them immediately and making a card...it is a little tradition of mine...LOL

So for this card I have used the Tilda with the flowers (not sure what flowers, they look like a type heather) and the log. I have coloured all the images in with my ProMarkers, using the following colours...
Ivory/Vanilla/Blush (skin)
Pastel Yellow/Gold (Hair)
Blossom (Hat & Wellies)
Sandstone (Top)
Warm Grey 1 (Trousers)
Marsh Green (Leaves)
Lavendar/Lilac (Blossoms)
Cocoa/Sandstone (Log)
The papers are K&Co Urban Rhapsody, and the blossoms are by Prima attached with brads and spacers. The ric rak was from a previous ScrapaGoGo kit. The sentiment is a stamp by Catslife Press (I love these stamps and have a huge collection of the seal ones). I cut the circle and scalloped circle with my Nestabilities using my Cuttlebug.

So that's it...first card completed....fingers crossed I get time later for more crafting.

Teacher Cards

I know I am a little late making Thank You cards for teachers, but then Magnolia didn't release these cute stamps in time. As I really wanted to have a play with them, I decided to get ahead of the game and make a couple for next year....let's just hope I remember where I put them when July comes next year....LOL

I have used Magnolia Tilda, Blackboard, School Desk, Pencil & Ruler stamps, all coloured with my ProMarkers (will add pen colours later). OK, so it's now later (15th Sept) and here are the colours I used...
Ivory/Vanilla/Blush (Skin)
Pastel Yellow/Gold (Hair)
Indigo Blue (Skirt & Shoes)
Berry Red (Jumper, Bows on Shoes, Hairband Book Covers, Blush of the Apple & the Pencil)
Gold (T-Shirt)
Cocoa (Desk, Chalkboard Frame)
Sandstone (Ruler)
Ivory (Book Pages)
Apple (Apple...hehehehe)
Black (Chalkboard)

The paper is Scenic Route (the new school ones, can't remember it's name). The mini alpha stickers are by Making Memories with these and the ric rak coming from old ScrapaGoGo kits.

I made another of these cards....but just accidentally deleted from Blogger....will add later, although it uses all the same products...it's just a little different. I am hoping that my Magnolia Fall stamp club kit has been delivered while I am out at work....fingers crossed.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge 27 "Cats and Dogs"

This week the challenge over on the Cute Card Thursday Blog is "Cats and Dogs".

For my card I have used 2 hAnglar & stAnglar images. The are both coloured with my ProMarkers, and I have used the following colours...

Ivory/Vanilla/Blush (Face)
Pastel Yellow/Apricot (Hair)
Apricot/Sandstone/Pumpkin (Cats)
Cocoa (Shoes & Basket)
Lavendar/Pastel Blue (T-Shirt)
Lilac (Shorts)
Pastel Blue (Socks)

I have used some Bazzill and Chatterbox "Eclectique", Crate Paper "Sweet Branch". The chipboard buttons are also by Crate Paper. For the sentiment I used a template that was in the August ScrapaGoGo greetings kit as was the rik rak. Finally I added some Prima flowers from my stash.

As you have come to expect, the cards of the DT over on Cute Card Thursday are stunning...very inspiring.

Ismaki #30

Ok, so I usually avoid the tricky sketches, but last night I bit the bullet and tried this weeks.
And here it is.....I have used a gorgeous Elisabeth Bell stamp from Whiff of Joy with a sentiment by Hero Arts. The papers are My Minds Eye, with the lace from the August ScrapaGoGo kit. The flowers are all by Prima with spacers kindly given to me by the gorgeous and stunning Marlene, held together with brads from my stash. I didn't like this initally and after looking at it for almost an hour, I added some Autumn Leaves swirl stamps to the plain bits...and now I think it is much better.

I have been asked a couple of times to list the colours I have used...so here goes. All are ProMarkers as follows...

Ivory, Vanilla & Blush (Face)
Cocoa (Hair)
Blossom (Jumper)
Amethyst (Trousers)
Cornflower (Mug & Socks)

Not sure if I will make another like it, as I don't think it's my style, but it's always good to try new things.

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 16 "Nikki's Sketch"

This week over on A Spoon Full of Sugar there is a lovely sketch provided by Nikki. I have been struggling to keep up with all the challenges over the past week....what with the bathroom being done, cropping, and then having to work in the evenings to catch up on the work I missed the week before...so when I saw Nikki's simple/elegant sketch...it was a no brainer. I received my gorgeous new Elisabeth Bell stamps from A Whiff of Joy at the weekend and this one was calling out to be used. I have coloured her with my ProMarkers and added Sakura clear glitter gel pen to her hair and wings. The paper I used was a sheet of Prima "Iron Orchid Designs" Coquette collection and the sheet is called "Starlet" (wow what a long name...LOL), that was given to me on Sunday at the crop by Rachael...thanks Hun. I have also added some Prima flowers with a brad and spacer and gorgeous metallic purple ribbon from my stash....finished off with a little "bling". I finally added a "Birthday Wishes" sentiment by Hero Arts.

I am loving these new Elisabeth Bell images and cannot wait to see what new designs she is coming up with.
